Bigg Boss telecast blocked by cable operators

Bowing to the pressure from Shiv Sena, the cable operators in Mumbai has blocked Bigg Boss 4 on Colors Channel from last night. The latest development came as a huge disappointment for the Bigg Boss fans.

The Shiv Sena is protesting against the participation of two Pakistani Actors in Bigg Boss 4 - Veena Malik and Begum Nawazish Ali.

After beating security guards of Bigg Boss house and calling Lonavla bandh for a day now Shiv Sena has asked cable operators across Mumbai and Thane to block the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ on Color channel from Wednesday night.

Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab has confirmed about the warning to Cable operators. He also said they will stop the telecast of the showing the whole state soon.

However, those who have Direct to Home (DTH) will have no problem watching this show. Ganesh Naidu, President of Cable Operators Association also confirmed about this and said they have been asked by Shiv Sena to do so.

Many subscribers who like the show were disappointed by this step and admitted that Colors TV had suddenly gone off the air at 9 PM.

People are surprised that why Shiv Sena is having problems with Pakistani actors who are in the show.

Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa always have Pakistani singers who compete for the title, but Shiv Sena never objected and even Bollywood is using Pakistani singers like Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to sing for their movie.

People are not happy with Shiv Sena for this immature action. They strongly believe that they have the rights to choose what they want to see.
