MNS and Shiv Sena protest against Pak Artists in Bigg Boss 4

The reality show ‘Bigg Boss 4’, which is aired on the Colors channel, landed into controversy. The Shiv Sena and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) protested against the participation of Pakistani artists Veena Malik and Begum Nawazish Ali in its fourth season.

Bigg Boss 4, which started on 3r October, includes Veena Malik, a Pakistani model and ex-girlfriend of cricketer Mohammed Asif, and Begum Nawazish Ali, host of a popular chat show in Pakistan.

According to the Shiv Sena’s spokesperson Sanjay Raut, the show should not be allowed to continue if it will invite Pakistani artists to participate in the show. He criticized the show stating 26/11 accused Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab should participate if the show is so tender towards Pakistani people.

Similarly, MNS chief Raj Thackeray nodded his head along with Shiv Sena's statement and said India is having pool of talents and it should not opt for other countries like Pakistan. It is reported that the host Salman Khan was criticized for hugging and dancing with the Pakistani artists during the show.

However, Colors channel has not commented anything on the controversy created by Shiv Sena and MNS.
